About Us
Yales
has been family owned and operated for over 70 years. George Orenstein
and Yale Orenstein started the business in New London as a body shop.
Yales moved out of New London in 1951, and into their current Montville
location. Max Orenstein joined George and Yale in the early 1950s. At
this point, Yales also introduced the salvage yard. In the mid 1960s,
you may have known Yales as the, Three Mad Men, to help distinguish them
from Yale Hospital, Yale University, and another salvage yard in New
Haven, named Yales.
Years later, Harvey and Philip (George's sons) bought the business from
Yale and Max. Harvey and Phil added full-time service to the business.
Jason Orenstein joined Philip and Harvey about seven years ago. Jason
runs the Parts Division of Yales. Yales employs an additional 10 people
that make up the full-service staff.
We are always getting complimented on our honesty. We are very reliable
when it comes to getting parts here, or to you. If you need the parts
installed, we can install them quickly. In fact, our installations are
usually completed ahead of schedule.
We usually have our own three trucks on the road delivering to CT, RI, MA, and NY. However, we will ship anywhere.
Our parts are clean and combatively priced.
Do not hesitate to contact Yales for your next service or parts purchase. You will not be disappointed! One of the key reasons we have been in business for over 70 years is because our main goal is customer satisfaction. |
